It is designed for fixed and mains socket AC sources by limiting the power delivery to 2400W while charging at 1000W to draw a total of less than 15 Amps from the AC plug. Multiple Deployment Options: With no PV solar panels attached while connected to the utility power grid and battery storage, the unit can function as a power backup source during load shedding or unforeseen utility power failures. The unit can also operate as a hybrid solar storage solution connected to the utility power grid or a generator to assist with charging the batteries when solar levels are low or as an off-grid pure solar storage solution with only the solar panels connected to charge the batteries. The internal electronics and AC relay arrangement make it physically impossible for the inverter to feed power towards the grid or generator.
