Crimping is recommended by using the UltraLAN EZ Crimping tool, which crimps the RJ45 connector and trims the excess cable in one simple cycle.Electrical performance of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector down over the cable jacket and seating it tightly in the rear of the connector.
