FEATURES
The Rain sensor shutoff is designed for automatic irrigation systems, contributing to water conservation by automatically interrupting the watering cycle during rainfall. It includes both metric and standard measurements, allowing adjustment of the millimetres of rain needed before disconnecting and the duration (after rain stops) before reconnecting. In typical installations, the sensor acts as a switch, breaking the circuit to the solenoid on the valves of the irrigation system when it detects rain. This prevents the sprinklers from activating at the scheduled time; allowing the timer to advance as programmed. Once the rain sensor has dried sufficiently, the switch closes again; restoring normal operation of the sprinkler system
