Working Load Limit (WLL): This is the maximum weight a chain can safely handle during regular use. It is the everyday operating limit and should never be exceeded.
Working load limit on the chain is as follows: 3mm: 100kg, 4mm: 150kg, 5mm: 200kg, 6mm: 375kg, 8mm: 600kg, 10mm: 850kg.
Breaking Load: The point at which the chain will physically fail or snap under extreme force. It is much higher than the WLL and used for testing purposes only. Available on request.
