It is recommended that a Ctek D250S be used to charge this battery, as it requires voltages in excess of 14.7V during the bulk charging phase, which a normal vehicle alternator is not able to provide. If 2 or more of these batteries are connected in parallel, then it is recommended to install a Ctek Smartpass to be used in conjunction with the Ctek D250S, to minimize charging time whilst driving

    Can this battery be mounted in the engine compartment of a vehicle (Prado) without being damaged by heat from the engine. It would be used to power a 12V fridge and LED lights. Answer:
    I would not suggest it as it does effect battery life when the battery exceeds 25 degrees.

    Sure, we can do that for you, but it is optional - we do not require the old batteries to sell the new ones.

    You would need to connect 2 each in series. Then connect both sets in parallel to the inverter
